Donald William Wood, Sr., age 83, of Cedar Hill, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Skyline Medical Center.
Donald entered into this life on September 9, 1935, in Chillicothe, OH son of the late Virgil and Margaret Johnson Wood. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Donald enjoyed trucking, watching NASCAR, westerns, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa Wood, and brother, Robert Wood.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Janet Clark Wood; son, Donald (Jennifer) Wood, Jr.; daughter, Brenda Ratliff; brother, Richard (Betty) Wood; sisters, Virginia Coey, and Judy Elliott; grandchildren, Jamie Weatherspoon, Michelle Ratliff, Andrea Wood, Andrew Wood, Autumn Wood, and Emily Wood, and twelve great-grandchildren.
