Donald Lee Riley, 77, Cunningham, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 noon Thursday at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. John Black officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the church.

He was born November 20, 1932 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Frances Jones Riley; son, Donald Wayne Riley; and his brother, Alton Riley. Mr. Riley was a member and trustee for Hopewell Baptist Church. He was employed as a truck driver by Averitt Lumber Company for 43 years and Moore Construction Company for 8 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Martha Mixon Riley, Cunningham; daughter, Sharon Tanner, Clarksville; brother, Charles Riley, Erin; sister, Sue Sutton, Erin; grandchildren, Joseph Tanner, Michael Tanner, Chris Riley; great-grandchildren, Thomas Tanner and Catherine Tanner. Pallbearers will be Chris Riley, Joseph Tanner, Michael Tanner, Paul Clark, Mike Patrick, Terry Richards and Claude Richard Sutton.
