Donald Evans

Donald G. Evans , 79, Clarksville, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at his son's residence. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Claud Holt officiating. Burial will be in Davidson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 till 8 p.m. Friday and from 1 till 3 p.m. Saturday at funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Evans was born January 8, 1931 in Montgomery County, the son of Boyd and Lyda Crotzer Evans. He worked as a Purchase Agent for Acme Boot Co. for over 35 years. Survivors include his son, Ronald D. "Ronnie" Evans, Cumberland Furnace; grand daughter, Mandy (Evans) Maples, Clarksville; grandson, Aaron Evans, Cumberland Furnace, and two great grandchildren, Jacob and Brandon Maples, Cunningham.
