Donald Beard

Donald Beard, age 89 of Erin, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Buchannan officiating. Burial will follow in the Beard Family Cemetery.
The Beard family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon.
Donald entered this life on November 19, 1929 in Houston County TN, son to the late Travis and Eunice Beard. Donald was a faithful member of Cumberland City Church of Christ and served in the US Army.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his siblings, Naomi Kurkyendall, Elbert Beard, Paul Beard, Oliver Beard, and Mike Beard.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Beard; daughters, Jaqueline Lynn Lemons, Jennie Anissa; brothers, Terry Beard; sisters, Margaret Rye, Golda Smith, and Eugenia Castleberry. Donald also leaves behind four grandchildren, Nolen Miller, Nick Lemons, Bryant Lemons, Halee Buchanan, and two great-grandchildren, Jax and Bracey Miller.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nolen Miller, Nick Lemons, Bryant Lemons, Steve Reed, Fred Richardson, Tim Bellar, Trever Beard, John Beard, and Jacob Beard.
