Don Townsend

Niles Donald Townsend, 70, Elkton, died Monday, August 10, 2009, at Kindred Hospital, Louisville, KY. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Guthrie, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. He was born April 4, 1939 in Giles County and was the son of the late Hobart and Mary Elizabeth Tarpley Townsend. Mr. Townsend was a carpenter and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Laura Moss Townsend, Elkton, KY; sons, Larry Wayne Worsham, Niles David Worsham, Pulaski,TN daughters, Nancy Elizabeth Tucker, Hopkinsville, Donna Ruth Taylor, Pulaski, TN sister, Mary Ann Worsham, Pulaski,TN; and nine grandchildren.
