Dolphus Junior McCormack, 89, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at his home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, October 23, 2016 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with the Rev. Chris Camp officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Dolphus entered this life on August 8, 1927 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by his parents, William RoDolphus and Cora Lee Hagewood McCormack; wife of 65 years, Esther Lois Smith McCormack; brothers, J.B., Edward D., Arthur W., Charles R. McCormack; sisters, Ethel Mai Blake, Lillian McCormack, Unia McCormack, Mary Elizabeth Beard; son-in-law Charles Douglas Harrison.
He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, retired from construction work and foreman with Quality Products, attended Olivet Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving family which includes his daughter Jennifer L. Harrison; grandchildren, Jeremy Douglas Harrison and wife Amy, Kevin Reynolds Harrison and wife Sarabeth; great grandchildren, Sophie, Jasper, Mason, and Elijah Harrison.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Harrison, Kevin Harrison, Danny McGregor, Gary McCormack, Jason McCormack and Sidney Johnson.
Great-grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
