Dolores Smith

Dolores Arlene Smith, age 85, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 following an extended illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Chuck Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Her family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Dolores entered into this life on March 11, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter to the late Milford H. Smith and Arlene East Smith. Dolores loved her children and dogs, enjoyed Christian music, leading women's Bible study, and shopping. She will be remembered as funny, zestful, and full of life.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reverend Dr. (Colonel Ret.) Billy T. Smith. Survivors include her children, Garrison Smith (Beverly), Gregory Smith, and Melisa Smith; brother, Milford H. Smith, Jr. (Paula); seven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Carson Smith, Thomas Scott Smith, Randolph Logan Thompson, Charles Marion Brown III, Stephen Dietsch, and Alan Dietsch.
