Dixie Alsobrooks 105, passed away December 18, 2014 at Signature Healthcare in Erin, Tn.She was born October 3, 1909 in Houston County, Tn. daughter of the late D.L. Lewis and Lydia Breeden Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband George Roscoe Alsobrooks, son Jessie Ray Alsobrooks . A celebration of her life will be 2pm Monday at Cedar Valley Methodist Church with Rev. James Fedlam and Rev. Beverly Dycus officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Sunday at Nave Funeral Home and from 10am until service time Monday at the church. Burial will be at Alsobrooks Cemetery. She was a member of Tennessee Ridge Methodist Church, Home Extension Club, Golden Agers, and J.D. Lewis Sr. Center. She enjoyed Gardening, Sewing, Crocheting, Quilting, Cooking, Reading and Walking. She was survived by one daughter Bessie Faye Fedlam, two grandsons Matthew, Luke (Janelle) two great grandchildren Allen and Simone. Pallbearers will be Randy Lewis, Steve Lewis, Wayne Moon, Dickie Moon, Diddle Alsobrooks, Jimmy Felts, Jason Gillespie, and Grant Gillespie.
