Diana Katheryn Hayes, age 77, of Palmyra, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 27, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013 at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. John Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 12 noon until the hour of service Monday at Hopewell Baptist Church.
Diana entered this life on December 24, 1935 in Minnesota, daughter to the late Andrew and Julia Ceicelski. She was retired from the Montgomery County School System where she worked for Montgomery Central in food service. She was a faithful member of the church family at Hopewell Baptist Church.
Diana goes to be reunited with her husband, Earl D. Hayes, Sr., and her children, Dennis Wayne Hayes and Sherry Marie Hayes. Survivors include her son, Earl D. Hayes, Jr. and his wife Gwen, and siblings Robert Ceicelski and Carol Richardson. She was the loving grandmother of Beth, Matthew, Stephanie, Erick, Cory, and Lisa and several great grandchildren.
