Diamin Lynette Shanklin, 8, Clarksville, TN, died Thursday, February 19, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at First Assembly of God Church with Rev, Timothy W. Grant Sr. and Elder John Mathis officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Thursday and from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Friday at First Assembly of God Church. The remains are to be cremated. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Diamin was born in Clarksville, TN, March 17, 2000, daughter of Antonio Shanklin and Natalie Ann Vullo. She was a 3rd grade student at Minglewood Elementary School, a member of Deliverance Out Reach Temple Church, she was in the Community Chorus at A.P.S.U., she played Soccer and was in Cheerleading. . Diamin is survived by her father, Antonio Shanklin of Georgia; paternal-grandmother, Crista Shanklin Fortson of Washington, D.C., paternal-grandfather, Robert Fortson of Maryland; grandfather, Everett Ogburn; maternal grandmother, Linda Shelton and maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Seifert both of Clarksville; sister, Tamia McClay of Clarksville.
