Dewey Spencer Gant III (Trey), age 63, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.
A Memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church, 2727 Mt. Holly- Huntersville Road, Charlotte, NC 28214.
The family will recieve friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
A close family graveside service will be held.
Dewey (Trey as he was known in his younger years) entered this life on March 19, 1959, in Charlotte, NC to Dewey S. Gant, Jr. and the late Harriett Henderson Gant. He was a retired Deputy Sheriff from the Mecklenburg County, North Carolina office and a Veteran of The United States Air Force. In his spare time, Dewey enjoyed playing golf and fishing.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Kathy Gant; sons, Spencer (Kiesha) Gant, and Josh Gant; daughter, Mickie Gant; grandchildren, Ember, Karson, Ayden, Cloe, and Michaela; siblings, Hank Gant, Brenda Helms, and Julie Cooper.
