Derek Scott Mickle, age 30, of Cumberland Furnace, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2015 at Slayden Baptist Church with Rev. James Green officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the church.
Derek was born March 31, 1985 in Montgomery County, TN and was preceded in death by his brother, Jeremy Mickle.
He was a construction worker.
Survivors include his parents, Carney Gary and Deborah Bradford Mickle; and his children, Adrianna Mickle, Jeremy Mickle, Brenden Mickle and Alison Garrett.
