Dennis Wood

Dennis Wood, age 90, of Clarksville, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at his residence.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. James Sanders officiating. Burial will full Military Honors follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Dennis entered into this life on March 9, 1932, in Junction, TX. Dennis retired from the United States Army, 101st Airborne as a Chief Warrant Officer. He also retired from Trane Company. He was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wives, Leonna Cummings Wood and Nell Coplen Wood and daughter, Marla Carroll; children by marriage, David Cummings, Gary Coplen, Sarah Hensley.

Survivors include his children, Denise (Wayne) Courtney, and Shannon (Mike) Frank; child by marriage, Kim Coplen; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Cummings; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several grandchildren by marriage.
