Deborah Martinez

Deborah Scoggin Martinez, age 70, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2024, with Pastor Daniel Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Millsville, TN.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, and again on Monday, January 22, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Deborah entered this life on September 9, 1953, in Robertson County, TN to the late Edgar and Lois Bennett Sullivan. She was a member of First Assembly of God and a counselor at Hope Pregnancy for over ten years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Robert Scoggin, and mother, Lois Deane Bennett Bybee.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Martinez; children, Brian (Jennifer) Cope, Billy (Tonya) Scoggin, Manuel (Jacqueline) Scoggin, Nancye (Bob) Peterson, Angela (Brad Shoemaker) Evans, Heather (Michael) Bidwell, and Karla Bernard; siblings, Robert Sullivan, Timothy Bybee, and Joy Valadez-Acuna, twenty grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Scoggin, Manuel Scoggin, Brian Cope, Jacob Capps, Aaron Eby, and Matthew Eby.
