Debora Lynn Trussell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away on February 14, 2024. She was born on December 3, 1951, in Salem, Oregon to her loving parents  Edward and Leslie Ginther. Debora will be deeply missed by her family and friends as they reflect on the beautiful memories she leaves behind.

Raised in the Catholic church, Debora had a strong faith that guided her throughout her life. In recent years, she found solace and community in the Baptist church. Her spirituality was an integral part of her identity and influenced the way she connected with others.

Debora was a woman of great strength and courage. She demonstrated her commitment to serving others by dedicating a portion of her life to the United States Air Force. Her military service was a testament to her patriotism and selflessness.

Family was at the heart of Debora's life. She shared 42 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband Terry Trussell. Their love was an inspiration to those who had the privilege of witnessing it. Together, they created a loving home where their daughters flourished.

Debora's daughters Jennefer Jeffers and husband Gregory, Meichelle McDonald and husband Dwayne, and Janae Hawke were undoubtedly blessed to call her their mother.

Being a grandmother brought immense joy to Debora's life. Her grandchildren Baylee Rivera, Jackson Jeffers, and Piper Jeffers were the apple of her eye. Their laughter filled her heart with an indescribable happiness. Debora also had the privilege of welcoming great-grandchildren Lucas and Gabby into her life, making each day more joyous than the last. She also leaves behind her siblings, John and Lori.

Services will be 10 a.m.  Monday,  June 24, 2024, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with US Air Force Honors.
