Deanna Mayo

Sara Deanna (Nichols) Mayo, age 59, of Clarksville, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, December 16, 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at The Community Church, 199 Jack Miller Blvd, Clarksville, TN. Bro. Sam Hill will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and again on Tuesday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the church.
Deanna entered this life on December 16, 1963, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Charles Ed Nichols and Elna Mae Nichols. Deanna worked in the food service industry for many years. She was the food bar manager for Ponderosa Steak House and Ryan’s Steak House until her retirement. Deanna was a member of The Community Church. She loved her church and when she was able, she enjoyed giving out food to families in need.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Mayo.
Survivors include her brother, Charles Andrew Nichols (Pamela); cousins, Kenny Barbour (Mary Lou), and Chris Barbour (Julie), and three nephews.
Pallbearers will be Earl Mullins, Jr., Alex Duke, Amya Davis, Leilani Lucas, Kainoa Lucas, and Joel Davis.
