David Franklin McCannon Watts, 95, Clarksville, died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at his residence. A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Bryan Baggett and Rev. Emmett Sexton officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with military honors. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Watts was born April 5, 1916 in Pittsburg, PA and was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin David and Elizabeth Watts; and his wife, Christina Staab Watts. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired steel worker and member of Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Franklin David (Joanne) Watts, Clarksville; grandchildren, Franklin David (Teresa) Watts II, Clarksville, Christa Watts, Oak Grove; great-grandchildren, Kristine Carter, Kenneth and Dusty Carter, Clarksville; Steven, Jake and Jaren Michalak, Oak Grove, KY.
