David Bruce Wallus

David Bruce Wallus, age 72, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2024 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Speight officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Friday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Born on August 24, 1951 in Clarksville, TN to the late Philip Francis and Marian Imogene (Holt) Wallus. David was a beloved member of First United Methodist Church. He was known for his passion for fishing and carpentry, skills he honed over the years while working as a residential and commercial contractor following his graduation from college where he received his Bachelor's degree.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Gwendolyn (Powers) Wallus.
 
 David is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn (Wortham) Wallus; his children, David Benjamin Wallus and Thaddeus Ryan Wallus; along with his siblings, Robert Wallus, Karen (Sam) Hill, and Katrina Wallus.

Pallbearers will be Teddy Lingle, Chip Holt, Aaron Wallus, Jeremiah Hill, Jason Holt, and Josh Wallus.
