Roger David Tucker, 55, of Woodlawn, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. James Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
David was born June 29, 1956 in Stewart County, Tennessee, son of Lone Junior Tucker and Linda Grizzard Tucker Chappelle. He was a member of Sunny View Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother Linda and her husband Harry Chappelle, survivors include his son Shawn (Jennifer) Tucker, daughter Monica Tucker (Michael) Boyko, brothers Johnny, Ronnie, Junior, and Tony Tucker, sister Amanda Jewell Hayes, and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James T. Wood, Anthony Farmer, Andrew Shields, Michael Boyko, Adam Tucker, and Tommy Albritton.
