David Sheppard

David Sheppard, age, 61, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 30, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Monday, October 3, 2022 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. David’s family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

David entered this life on February 15, 1961, in Clarksville to the late Bob and Dorothy Pena Sheppard. As a young man, David went to work in the construction industry and over the decades logged countless hours as a back hoe operator. He was very accomplished in his trade and took great pride in his work. Also, David was an accomplished outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved being in God’s great creation. David also was a fun loving guy who enjoyed family, friendships, and living life.

In addition to his Mom and Dad, David is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Sheppard.

Survivors include his daughter, Julie Sheppard, grandson, Landon, and sisters, Misty Patterson (John) and Tracey S. Dorschner (James). He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews, and his cousins, of which he shared a close bond and friendship with Ronnie Sheppard.
