David Rose

David Emerson Rose, age 70, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at his home in Springfield after an extended illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. His family will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at a later date at Kessee Cemetery.
David entered into this life on November 12, 1950 in Robertson Co., Tennessee to the late James and Gracie Ann Rose. Mr. Rose enjoyed fishing and hunting, and watching old war movies. Though he spent his working life doing many things, he spent most of those working years tobacco farming.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by brothers Edward Rose, Larry Rose, Richard Rose, and Wilson Price.; and a granddaughter, Brianna. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Rose, and children, Angela Holt, Cheryl Pendleton, Nancy House, Stacy Rose (JR) Martinez, Kimberly Rose (Robert) Lunsford, Tasha Knight, David Linn Rose, Joshua Dewayne Rose, and Christopher Dalton Rose; siblings, Caroline Clendenin and Leo Rose. He was also the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
