David Jones

David Allan Jones, age 67 of Clarksville, TN passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022.
Celebration of Life and Military Honors will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
David will be laid to rest at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at a later date.
David entered this life on April 16, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Leroy and Mayme Roberts Jones. He attended Austin Peay State University and enjoyed nature and animals. He loved making people laugh, and he was an avid reader. David served as an Aviation Pilot in the United States Army and retired after 22 years of honorable service. During those years, he found enjoyment in flying Cobra and Apache Helicopters. He went on to pursue a career with the Clarksville Police Department, where he served as a police officer for 16 years. David was a selfless man who just wanted to help people and make a difference in their lives.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jo Ellen Bouwkamp Jones; children, Brooke Niles, Joshua (Kara) Jones, Jennifer (John McNamra) Jones, and Lindsey (Matt) Tomchick; grandchildren, Madison Niles, Evan Niles, Teagan McNamra, Glen McNamra, Taylor Jo Tomchick, Kimberly Tomchick, and Everett Jones.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
