David Gibson, Sr.

David Wayne Gibson, Sr., age 62, of Clarksville, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Spurgeon, and Bro. Dwayne Smith officiating.
The Gibson family will receive friends from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
David entered into this life on July 18, 1956 in Nashville, TN to Vernon and Julia Parker Gibson. He was a member of Slayden Baptist Church, and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. David was a diesel mechanic by trade, but had the knowledge to work on anything, especially old cars.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his children, Jonathan Gibson, and Baby Sam Gibson, and siblings, Billy Joe Gibson, and Charlotte Lucas.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Gibson; children, Joey Wayne Gibson, Vernon Maurice (Gloria) Gibson, Christopher Lynn (Nurey) Gibson, David Shaun (Melissa) Gibson, and David Wayne Gibson, Jr.; siblings, Kenneth Gibson, Brenda Cummins, and Jimmy Gibson; grandchildren, Hunter Gibson, Logan Wayne Gibson, Chelsie Tapscott, Charlajean Gibson, Destiny Hopkins, and Amelia Gibson, he is also survived by all of his fur babies.
