David Wayne Foster

David Wayne Foster, age 67, of Cumberland Furnace, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 with Bro. Stephen Ramsey officiating at Gum Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will held from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

David entered into this life on October 31, 1957 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Dexter and Anna Reed Foster. He worked at Orgain Building Supply for many years until retirement. David was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church where he served as Chairman of the Deacons in the past.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Neal Foster.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patty Thomas Foster; son, Jonathan Blake Foster; aunt, Linda Miller; cousins, Greg Miller, Lisa Miller Green; sister-in-law, Anette Foster.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gum Springs Church Delbert Homol Family Life Center. 

Pallbearers will be Jerry Myers, Danny Wells, David Elliot, Danny Binkley, Greg Miller, and Neal Slate. Carl Stagner will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
