Dave Thoyre

Charles David “Dave” Thoyre, age 54, of Clarksville passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2021, and again from 12 Noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.

Dave entered into this life on July 25, 1966, to the late Charles Thoyre and Nancy Morris. Dave loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and was an avid rider. He was a true patriot at heart who was very opinionated and loved firearms. Dave also loved music and knew the word to every song and the artist. He lived hard and loved harder.

Survivors include his loving wife, Mindy Thoyre; stepmother, Dixie Anderson Thoyre; brother, Michael Wayne Matthews; sister, Charlotte Michelle Jones.

Pallbearers will be Dan Dolwick, Larry Riggins, Todd Bledsoe, U’Don Hales, Jeffery Smith, and Matthew Short.
