Darrell Dee Morgan, 80, Clarksville, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at his home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. E.G. Sims, Rev. Bobby Kail and Rev. Harold Shoulders officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 12 noon until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. He was born November 6, 1927 in Logan, WV, son of Olyn Jude Morgan and Pansy Payne Morgan Walk. RET SSG Morgan United States Army was a veteran of WWII, Korea, and Viet Nam and was a Purple Heart recipient, after retirement form the Army he continued to serve our country at the Fort Campbell Army Air Field Distribution Center where he was awarded the Civilian Award for Humanitarian Service. He is survived by his wife Frances Morgan of Clarksville; his children Ronald (Nancy) Small of Clarksville, Cozette (Steve) Winters of Clarksville, Suzy Morgan Hurt of Thompon Station, and Darrell Ed Morgan of Madison; brother James (Cindy) Walk of Clarksville; grandchildren Charles D. Winters, Jarrod R. Small, Cristina Morgan, and Rachel E. Crenshaw; and great-grandchildren Caleb Small, Rebecca Winters, Wesley, Winters, Sydny Lyon, and Katelynn Warren. Honorary pallbearers will be Carson Moore, Joe Willis, Steve Clark, Mel Bernstel, James (Bud) Perry, John Rinehart, and James (Jim) Walk.
