Robert Darell Fielder, 87, Cumberland Furnace, died Monday, December 20, 2010, at his home. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Pastor Gregory Jones officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Fielder was born May 12, 1923 in Dickson Co., Tennessee, son of the late Robert and Pearl Martin Fielder. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister Lovyce Mays. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in WWII as an M.P.. He retired after 30 years of service with the TVA and then drove a school bus in Montgomery Co. for 15 years. He recieved his 50 year pin as a Mason and was a member of the Eastern Star. Mr. Fielder is survived by his wife, Louise Marshall Fielder of Shiloh; sons Ronnie and wife Belva of Henrietta, Erby and wife Carole of Seneca, SC and Garry Story and wife Kathy of Clarksville; brother Troy and wife Lilly of Brooksville, FL; grandchildren Ronda (Jeff) Mayo, Tracie (Marty) Hogan, Elisabeth (Shane) Hix, Nathan Fielder, Matthew Fielder, Perry Story, and Katherine Story; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brandon Chambers, Clyde Karnes, A.J. Miller, Steve Brake, Bud Perry, Perry Story, Charlie Britt, and Phillip Chambers.
