Dareal Cary

Dareal “Cotton” Cary, age 69 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley and Bro. Richard Neal officiating. Burial will follow in McDonald Cemetery.
The Cary family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon.
Cotton entered this life on December 7, 1951, in Tennessee Ridge, TN, son to the late Robert “Bob” and Joyce Lewis Cary.
In addition to his parents, Cotton was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Daniel Cary.
Survivors include his loving children, Bo Cary (April), Cory Dennis, Tabitha Cary (Justin Conyers), Justin Cary (Tyler Bridges); siblings, Joe Cary (Shirley), Mary Pulley (Nathan), Pat Carpenter (Reggie), and Richard Cary (Elizabeth). Cotton also leaves behind nine grandchildren and one great grandchild that is expected to enter this life in August.
Serving as pallbearers will be Pat Mahoney, Moochie Reynolds, Ray Elliott, Billy Joe Coakley, Tuffy Brooks, and Stevie Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be Archie Brooks and all of the quickstop softball players.
In lieu of flowers, family ask that memorial contributions be made to Nave Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
