Danny Ray Ward, age 67, of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2018 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Keith McAfee officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Marine Corps Honors.
The Ward family will receive friends on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Danny entered into this life on October 28, 1950 in Greenwood, South Carolina, son of the late George Robert Ward and Flora Doris Higgenbotham Ward. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having trained as a tank operator in the Vietnam era. Also, he worked as an industrial painter. Danny was a loving father and loved his grandchildren dearly.
Survivors include his children, Jerry Martin (Angela), Keith McAfee (Holly), Corky Ward (Jackie), and Danny Ward (Ashley); grandchildren, Ryan, Austin, Jenna, Chloe, A.J., Chlaire, Conner, Chace, Ashton, and Miller; siblings, Tommy Ward (Sandy) and Gayle Pardue. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings Judy Jones and George Robert "Corky" Ward.
