Mr. William Terry Daniel “Danny” Vaughn, age 96 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Signature Healthcare of Erin.
Danny entered this life on January 24, 1920 in Montgomery County, TN, son to the late Elmer and Lelia Vaughn. Danny was a proud WWII veteran where he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Danny loved hunting and fishing and was a plumber by trade. A man once claimed Danny Vaughn put the P in Plumbing. Danny was a lifelong resident of Cumberland City where he was a 50 year member of the Masonic Charity Lodge #370.
In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lula Vaughn; brothers, Early Vaughn, Vernon Vaughn, Enloe Vaughn, Dossie Vaughn; sisters, Olentha Daniel, and Enza Vaughn.
Survivors include his loving daughters, Judy Mann, Joan Parker; brother, Jack Vaughn; grandsons, Adam Mann (Karis), Darren Parker; great-grandchildren, Mallory Mann, and Jaxon Mann.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Cumberland City Cemetery.
