Danny Lee Means, 65, Clarksville, died Saturday, September 6, 2008, at Skyline Medical Center, Nashville. The funeral will be held at 12 noon Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born December 2, 1942 in Texas. Mr. Means a VietNam Veteran, retired from the U.S. Navy after 26 years and later retired from Civil Service at Ft. Campbell. Survivors include his son, Joey (Cheri) Means, Indiana; granddaughter, Jessie Means; brother, Phillip Means; companion, Joyce Bogard; and many, many, friends including Bob and Dawn Powell, Doug and Teresa Eakes and Shane Haskin and Linda Marie Goncalves.
