Danny Ray Douglas, age 70 of Memphis, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Arlington Cemetery in Erin, TN with Bro. Paul Moody officiating.
Danny entered this life on June 17, 1946 in Memphis, TN, son to the late George and Lois King Douglas. Danny graduated from the University of Memphis with a B.S. Degree in Physics and Mathematics. Danny was an Avionic Tech with ASI, and was an avid fisherman, and hunter.
In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his son, Richie Simmons, and brother, Bobby Douglas.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jane Douglas; daughters, Cindy Douglas, Tracy Douglas, Stephanie Tickle (Allen), Amanda Sheppard (Matt); son, Robert Simmons; brothers, Ken Douglas, Terry Douglas, (Mary), and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Danny also leaves behind his loving dog, Lillie Fay Douglas.
