Danny Childress

Danny Radford Childress, 59, Clarksville, died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 12 noon Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Harriet Harris officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born March 21, 1949 in Clifton Forge, VA, son of Robert Earl Childress and Ethel Williams Childress. Mr. Childress was a U.S. Army veteran, employed by the Trane Company for 34 years as a welder, and a member of the Episcopal Church. He was preceded in death by his father. In addition to his mother of Clarksville he is survived by his wife, Dee Childress of Clarksville, son Landon Carrington Childress of Clarksville, brother Jim Childress of Goodlettsville and Bobby Childress of Alabama, and sister Cindy English of Clarksville. Pallbearers will be Bobby Childress, Jim Childress, Danny English, Bill Bolen, John McDonough and Mark Parchman.
