Dan Hill

Dan Hill, 65, Clarksville, died Thursday, December 31, 2009, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Young Seop Ahn and Rev. George Lefevre officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. The remains are to be cremated. He was born November 3, 1944 in Hillsdale, Michigan and was the son of the late, Victor S. and Mollie F. Roberts Hill. Mr. Hill was retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service and was a decorated soldier; He served in Korea and Vietnam and was a member of DAV and presided over USDR and a member of MENSA. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Hill; son, Marcus Hill; daughter, Lori Hill; brothers, Jack Herold, Chris Herold; sister, Joyce Hill.
