Dalton Rogers

Garland Dalton Rogers, age 93 of Erin, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 08, 2018 at Signature Healthcare of Erin.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Erin Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Daniel Medders officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Valley Cemetery.
The Rogers family will receive friends beginning 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning at the church.
Dalton entered this life on December 20, 1924 in Houston County, TN son to the late Emmett and Annie Alsobrooks Rogers. Dalton was a lifelong resident of Houston County, and a faithful member of the Erin Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to his parents, Dalton was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Rogers.
Survivors include his loving children, Steve Rogers (Glenda), Teresa Shippy (Glen); grandchildren, Murphy Rogers, Sarah Rogers, Meleigh Shippy, and Ben Shippy.
Serving as pallbearers will be Murphy Rogers, Ben Shippy, Wade Winters, Jimmy Felt, Oneal Winters, and Raymond Finch.
