Dalton Ray Knight, 83, Clarksville, died Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel with Rev. Jessie Tharpe officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full Military Honors. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born April 14, 1926 in Hickory, Kentucky son of Milton and Jewel Knight. He was also preceded in death by his wife Helga Knight. Mr. Knight retired from the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict, was involved with the A.A. for 28 years, and was a member of the Edelweiss Club. Survivors include his son Dean Knight of Clarksville, brothers Bill Knight of Paducah, KY, and Henry Knight of St. Louis, MO, sisters Virginia Davis, Jeanette Monroe, and Lou Harvey, all of Paducah, and grandchildren Dalton Dray Knight and Stormi Sumer Knight.
