Daisy Rainey

Daisy Mae Rainey, 90 of Clarksville passed away on July 9, 2020.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2020, at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery.
The Rainey family will receive friends Friday, from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rainey was born on October 23, 1929, in Lancaster, SC., daughter of the late Hood and Odessa Bailey. Daisy was a Christian woman and her home church was St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur, AL. She was the best mother anyone could ever ask for and her children meant the world to her. She loved living life and having fun; and enjoyed gardening, especially planting flowers, cooking for her family, singing, playing the piano, and dancing. Daisy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her late husband J.D. Rainey; sons; Robert Hinton, Melvin Hinton; grandchild, Hanifa Hentley; and one great-grandchild, Alex Price. She is also preceded in death by three brothers and seven sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Charlie (Catherine) Hinton, Patricia Locklayer, Shenese Edmonds, Charles (Patria) Hinton, Belinda (Robert) Moss, and Amelia Oates; 23 grandchildren 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rudy Morales, Steven Morales, Robert Locklayer, Donnell Brown, Tashawn Edmonds, and Aryous Hinton.
