Cwo Tracy

Richard L. `Dick` Tracy, 92, Clarksville, died Thursday, December 9, 2010, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Revs. James Shepherd and Jody Kilburn officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery will full military honors. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Tracy was born September 23, 1918 in Platteville, WI and was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mildred Leppla Tracy; wife, Jeanie Yoshiko Iida Tracy, son, Ichi Tracy; brother, Kenneth Tracy; and sister, Marion Pitzen. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII as well as Korea; and later retired from Civil Service at Fort Campbell. Survivors include his sons, Harold (Dana) Tracy, Woodlawn, Dick (Susan) Tracy, Bellevue, Pat Tracy, Clarksville, Mike Tracy and J.J. (Sandy) Tracy, Knoxville; daughter-in-law, Vickie Tracy, Paducah; brother, Jack Tracy; sisters, Shirley Ward, Plattville, WI, Beverly Hannan, Livingston, WI; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Harold Tracy, Dick Tracy, Pat Tracy, Mike Tracy, J.J. Tracy and Charles Turner; Sal Geraci will serve as honorary pallbearer. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Woodlawn, P.O. Box 98 Woodlawn, TN 37191.
