CWO III (Retired) Beecher Morrow, 76, Clarksville, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, at Montgomery Care & Rehab. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 12 noon until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born Sept. 1, 1931, in Unaka, N.C., son of A.L. Morrow and Viola Lethcoe Morrow. He served 29 years in the Army; serving in Germany, one tour of duty in Korea, and two tours of duty in Vietnam. A few of his Awards and Decorations include the Bronze Star with two oak leaf clusters, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with two Palm Awards, Vietnam Service Medal, four Campaign Stars, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation with Cluster, Good Conduct Medal, Army Occupation of Germany Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and 27 other Decorations and Awards. He was a Master Mason, belonging to Masonic Lodge 465 Plato, Mo., a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason, Joplin, Mo., and a member of the National and Local Retired Officers Association. Mr. Morrow also worked with the Civil Service for 15 years and was a Baptist. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Dorothy Morrow and Jannie Morrow Jones, and one brother, Jack Morrow. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Paula A. Hippel Morrow of Clarksville, son Danny R. Morrow of Clarksville, daughter Darlene Morrow Roberts of Memphis, grandson Christopher A. Roberts of Memphis, brother Virgil Morrow of Hatfield, Ark., and sister Evelyn Morrow Brown of Riverton, Wyoming. Military will serve as pallbearers.
