CW2 (Ret) Sterling R. Dunaway, age 77, passed away on Saturday, May 28,2022.
A committal ceremony with full US Army Honors will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Sterling entered this life on May 13, 1945, in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Sterling B. Dunaway and Edna Herrod Dunaway. He was retired from The United States Army, loved to fish, and was a former member of the Tennessee Bass Association.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gail Dunaway.
Survivors include his children, Sterling R. Dunaway, Jr.; children by marriage, Joseph L Spencer, Jr. and Donna Holland; siblings, Shelton (Regina) Dunaway, Sandy (Jackie) Dunaway, Steve Dunaway, and Sherry (Steve) Davis.
