CSM (Ret) James Lee Fielder, age 79, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. He was lovingly known as “Jim”.
Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2024, with Bro. Geoffrey Sikes officiating.
Burial and Full US Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Jim entered this life on December 4, 1944, in Huntington, WV to the late James E. Fielder and Essie Keyser Fielder. He lived a life dedicated to service, devotion to family, and faith. Jim’s military career spanned over three decades, culminating in his retirement as a Command Sergent Major. After his distinguished military career, he transitioned to parts sales at John Deere. A beloved member at Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing, Jim found strength and community in his faith. Above all, Jim cherished his family. He had a profound love for his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 50 years, Janie Graham Fielder; children, Chris (Gail) Fielder, Stephen (Monica) Fielder, and Caroline (Cecil) Tomlinson; sisters, Barbara Mills and Rachel Kyrvoruka; grandchildren, Katie, Jacob (Hannah), Brooks, Patrick, Austin, Kayla (Micah), Gracie, Natalie, Austin, Isabella, and Annalise; one great-granddaughter, Ellie James Candler.
Serving as pallbearers will be Micah Candler, Casen Cunningham, Austin Phillips, Jacob Tomlinson, Brooks Tomlinson, Austin Tomlinson, and Patrick Tomlinson.
