CSM (Ret) Gary Crisp

CSM (Ret) Gary Wayne Crisp, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Arnold Ison officiating. Following the service, Military Honors will be rendered. The Crisp family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the hour of service Friday.
Gary entered into this life on June 18, 1948 in Morehead, Kentucky, son of Arnold and Bessie Ison Crisp. Gary was dedicated to his country, having retired from the U.S. Army. During his military career, Gary attained the rank of Command Sergeant Major and bravely served in Vietnam. As much as Gary enjoyed his calling to serve in the Army, he also enjoyed his retirement. He loved fishing and motorcycles. Gary was a Baptist.
Gary was predeceased by his daughter, Sharon Crisp. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Johnson Crisp; daughter, Carol Crisp; grandchildren, Benjamin and Mikayla Wilhite; and brother, Edward Crisp.
