CSM Henry Cadena, Ret.

CSM (Ret) Henry M. Cadena, age 86, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at Sterling House of Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Byron Dumas officiating. Full military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the service. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday.
Henry entered this life on September 6, 1926 in Alpine, Texas, son of the late Antonio and Carmen Marquez Cadena. He was retired from a career with the U.S. Army, having bravely and dutifully served his country in WWII, the Korean War, and two tours of duty in Vietnam. Henry was of the Presbyterian denomination.
Survivors include his loving wife, Martha Cadena of Roswell, NM; children, Richard "Rick" A. Cadena of Clarksville, Donna C. Wilson of Roswell, NM, and Gayle C. McClure (David Bonner) of Clarksville; grandchildren, Marquez M. McClure, Austin C. Wilson, and Bryan C. Wilson; great grandchildren, Brianna Mergl, Ace Wilson, and Taylor Wilson; and brothers Rudy Cadena of LaLuz, NM, Cosme Cadena of El Paso, TX, Fred Cadena of Chicago, IL, Charlie Cadena of Van Nuys, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Clarksville, TN Chapter 45 of the D.A.V. or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
