Mrs. Thelma Melton, age 85, of Erin, passed away on Wednesday July the 8th.
She will have a celebration of life service on Saturday the 11th at 11:00 am. Internment will be at Alsobrooks Cemetery following the service. The family of of Mrs. Melton will be receiving visitors from 3:00 to 8:00 on Friday, and again from 8:00 until time of service on Saturday.
Mrs. Melton was born June 4, 1930 in Houston County Tennessee daughter of the late Adam Adams and Grace Boyd Adams was also preceded in death by her husband Willard Leo Melton.
She is survived by her sister Carlene Lipscomb, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and her companion Johnny Mitchell. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
