Corporal Eric Anthony Thompson, 27, died Saturday, February 18, 2012.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY. Full military honors will be rendered. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Corporal Thompson was born September 6, 1984 in New York, son of the late Glenn Thompson and Stephanie Thompson. He was a 2002 graduate of Fort Campbell High School. He was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and had served one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan.
In addition to his mother of Clarksville survivors include his wife, Ashley Smith Thompson, his daughter, Jasmine Skye Thompson, and his mother-in-law, Denise Rosa of Oak Grove.
