Cora Davenport

Cora Isabell Davenport, 85, formerly of Clarksville, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at her daughters residence in Madison. A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Revs. Larry Robertson and Verlon Moore officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home. She was born August 6, 1925 in Christian County, KY and was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Alice Anderson Wilkinson; husband, Louis Davenport Jr.; son, David Lynn Davenport; and her brothers, Hugh Wilkinson and James E. Wilkinson. Mrs. Davenport was a sales rep for Stanley Home Products and a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Gregory, Madison; and her brother, John B. Wilkinson, Clarskville.
