Connie Rushing

Connie S. Rushing, 56, Clarksville, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Clarksville Church of God of Prophecy with Bro. Bob Creasy and Bro. Jim Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Keesee Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 28, 1952 in Montgomery County daughter of James Arthur Frey and Lottie Norman Frey. Mrs. Rushing was a member of Clarksville Church of God of Prophecy, Church Dorcas Club, a volunteer for Alzheimers Association. She was a artist and formerly employed by Sams Wholesale. Other than her mother of Clarksville, she is survived by her husband, Allen Rushing, Clarksville; daughters, Melissa Sue (Chris) Bohanon, Waverly, Vanessa N. (Jathan) Mitchell, Dickson; brothers, James (Simon) Frey, David (Carol) Frey, Clarksville; sisters, Mary Nell (Larry) Haynes, Rosa (Bob) Deschatelets, clarksville; grandchildren, Scott Bohanon, Allison Bohanon and Jaela Mitchell. Pallbearers will be David Frey, James (Simon) Frey, Eddie Harrison, Chris Bohanon, Jathan Mitchell and Larry Haynes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer' Association, 4205 Hillsboro Pk., Ste 216, Nashville, TN 37215.
