Clyde Webb, age 78 of Stewart, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Summers Cemetery with full military honors.
The Webb Family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon. Masonic services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening.
Clyde entered this life on February 23, 1938 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Murray Clyde and Ruby Mae Allison Webb. Clyde proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, and was a member of Charity Lodge 370. Clyde retired from Southern Gage as a Machinist, and spent his time working with his mules and horses. Clyde was known as a kind, simple, and humble man with a great sense of humor; and he was a loving friend to so many.
In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his son, Jacob Lynn Webb; sisters, Jenny Bradley, and Mary Nickolai.
Survivors include his loving wife, Betty Webb; daughters, Terri Jean Webb, Amber Louise Beard, Susan Joy Webb; step-children, Shanna Rye, Kristy Bell, Brandie Bowers, Randy Hollis; siblings, Looney Webb, Ann Tanner, Carolyn Hojnacki, Wendell Webb, George Webb, Bonnie Dunavant, and Barbara Voran. Clyde also leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Dunavant, Freddie Voran, Eric Webb, Ricky Agy, Randy Hollis, and Kelly Bridges.
