Clifton Lee Mohon, 80, Clarksville, died Saturday, November 3, 2007, at Spring Meadows Nursing Home.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Louie Montoya officiating.
Burial will be in Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born October 3, 1927, in Montgomery County, son of James Mohon and Mandy Stough Mohon.
Mr. Mohon was a heavy equipment operator, served in the National Guard, a Baptist, and an avid Nascar fan.
Survivors include a son, Jeff Mohon of Lauderdale, Mississippi; daughters Tammy Ambrose of Clarksville and Amanda Collette Fields of Lafayette, Ind; sisters Ramie Armstrong of Clarksville, and Irene Stegman of Asheboro, NC; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Ambrose, Hunter Ambrose, Dave Fields, Brian DelGiorno, Matthew DelGiorno, Murry Burns, Robert Nicholson, and Kenneth Mosley.
