Cliff Barnes - 1922 William Cliff Barnes, 87, Tn. Ridge, Tn, died Monday, February 22, 2010, at Patients Choice Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday at Hurricane Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Bud Sherrell and Bro. Robert Spurgeon officiating. Burial will be in Barnes Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home and from 12:00pm until service at church Wednesday at Hurricane Creek Baptist Church. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Barnes was born December 12, 1922 in Stewart County, Tn. Son of the late William H. Barnes and Elsie Wyatt Barnes. Mr. Barnes was a member and a decon for Hurricane Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 65 years Marie Fielder Barnes,three sons Jerry Barnes, Danny Barnes, Kenneth Barnes all of Stewart, Tn. two sisters Mary Norfleet, Hazel Laxton both of Tn. Ridge, Tn. six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jerry W. Barnes, Staci L. Barnes, Dwayne Barnes, Amy Jones, Jerry D. Barnes Jennifer Barnes and Aaron Jones.
